Not bad. I wonder if any Samsung manufacturer warranty would still apply.

I had good experiences with this seller "qualitycellz" around their recent LG G2 D800 deals.

Yes, although according to the following link, it will be missing the 900 Mhz LTE band. Not sure if that's important or not?

It will work on T-Mobile, but it is missing the primary 3G voice/data band. Full LTE support outside of LTE band 12 (which no S5 supports). Also remember, unless it is a T-Mobile model of the device, no WiFi calling available. Encrypted bootloader, so you can't flash any replacement system software and you will need an AT&T SIM card to update it to Lollipop OTA.

This model's compatibility with T-Mobile:
  • 2G EDGE - Yes
  • 3G HSPA+ AWS 1700 - No
  • 3G HSPA+ PCS 1900 - Yes
  • 4G LTE AWS 1700 - Yes
  • 4G LTE PCS 1900 - Yes
  • 4G LTE 700-A - No

I will be switching over to straight talk no contract which uses AT&T cell towers. Just curious will this phoe work fine for LTE /4 G etc... just like any normal phone?

I called the vendor and was informed it was carrier unlocked

No. Verizon uses CDMA; this is a GSM phone.

Just curious as to why you're going with Straight Talk over Cricket, which is $10/month cheaper.

Incredible price, completely kills one plus one, Zenfone 2, and anything else in mid-tier space.

I actually like S5 over S6 with better battery life (resolution increase is pointless on a 5" inch screen) and removable battery (GREATLY extends the life span of a phone).

Past flagships are simply much higher quality than today's mid-tier devices. I see zero reason for anyone to choose anything other than a $220 G2 or $320 S5.

Better screen.

Replaceable battery.

Better camera.

Huge community for accessories support, issues, questions etc.

Can probably walk into an AT&T store and get a replacement instead of a niche vendor.

Not same planet. I would never ever choose a niche no-name vendor over Samsung if the price/specs are equal.

S5 beats G3 with lower resolution and much higher battery life/performance because of it.

Just a much more practical device. I would rank it ahead of S6 especially if you don't plan on replacing your phone every 2 years. Battery degradation kills your device if the battery is not replaceable.

S5 destroys G3 with lower resolution and much higher battery life/performance because of it.

Just a much more practical device.
Also, SD Card, AMOLed screen, fingerprint scanner, ease of replacement parts, heart rate monitor

Thanks and Reps....I'm going to fall back to the LG G2 and save a Benjamin.
