Those who decide to buy this phone should be aware of few things:

1. They don't have a phone number for support.Only way you could ask for their support is through their website (emailing).
2. Many users are having issues with it, called ghost touch (phone incorrectly recognizes touch, sometimes even without touching it).

If you raise a ticket with them, their average response time is 2 weeks. Then once they respond, they will ask for pictures of the phone (different angle), then video explaining the issue, and then they will ask you to pry the phone open (keep in mind the phone has a "non-removable back cover) which will need some skills. They will not proceed without that information.

Some users also mentioned you will have to ship this to UK for a replacement. So add couple of weeks for getting the replacement.

I have this video explaining the ghost touch:

Thanks

I have the 64GB sandstone black and absolutely love it but there are a lot of users complaining of touchscreen issues when the phone heats up. I have not experienced these at all.

Average? Really? I based my purchase of the OnePlus One on mostly tech reviews (articles, a lot of youtube reviews, android forums etc).

After 6 months of ownership, I can say that the OnePlus One is, indeed, a great phone. I have never experienced any of the major issues some claim to have experienced such as the "yellow tint" or "ghost touch screen".

That being said, the OS does have a few minor bugs sometimes as expected on a custom ROM (Cyanogen OS), but nothing major. Based on my personal experience as well as the research I've done on the device and comments from friends and family who have also bought the device, I can firmly recommend the OnePlus One to anyone who is looking for a still powerful device at an even better price now.

Well, sure, if I got a phone that did not have the issues that a lot of people did, I would think its a great phone too!. HOWEVER, if you do get a phone with an issue, you will find that you would prefer to be in Purgatory rather than have to deal with their "customer service" (I use the term verrrrrrry loosely)

go with the zenphone, it's cheaper and leaves you an extra $50 to spend on yourself..

The OnePlus One is much more powerful in terms of processing power, has more RAM memory, a larger battery and much more internal memory (64 GB vs 16 GB) than the Zenfone 2 ($199 version). However, the OPO does not have an SD card slot.
