Not as good as the Fry's deal for $35, but still decent for those who missed it.

Eligible for $25 in best buy certificates making it $25, thank you gibsonbass!

Useful site for checking compatibility with your carrier of choice:
willmyphonework.net

^Model: MOTXT1528PP is listed as model on BB site. that model in not listed on the willmyphonework.net site

Moto E 2nd Gen has GSM capabilities, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/m...k-t3098953.

Moto E does NOT have an LED flash for the camera. The Moto E 2nd generation (linked in this thread) does not have a notification LED/light either. (The older Moto E first gen does have the notification light).
It has no notification LED, but it has Moto Display, which lights up notifications on the phone's screen when you pick it up or rock it on a flat surface.

Received the phone yesterday and I got the $25 reward point pending this morning.

APN settings for Tmobile LTE:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-19853

Make sure APN Type includes "dun" to get wifi hotspot to work
APN Type: default,supl,admin,dun,mms

Fry's deal was $29.99 and no, this is far from decent.

Dumb question, but I have to ask. Can I buy this and have it activated on my regular Verizon account? Or do I have to use it strictly as a prepaid? Thanks

If you have a sim card in your current verizon phone and it is the same size as the one in the moto-e you can switch the sim over, it's easy. They discussed this in the other thread for the 29.99 moto e that the OP mentioned. You may have to keep the phone powered off until you have put the sim card in, not sure on that part. I know you do have to do this in order to easily use it with another gsm carrier.

This is a better deal than the Fry's deal since it's $25 net after rewards. I was looking at this just this morning but thought someone else had already posted it. I guess no one did.

This comes down to $25 after the BB certificate, and the other deal was $34.99 with shipping

How do I know if it's 2nd Gen Moto E? No where on the box it mentions that, right?
