It's only for seller...
I see a banner that says "Limited Time Offer For First Time Sellers"

Promotion Terms and Conditions
Please note: Sellers must activate the Promotion by selecting "Activate offer" in the invitation email or on the Promotion landing page. Items listed prior to a seller activating the Promotion will not be eligible as part of the Promotion. Registration may be required if an eBay account has not already been created.

Who's eligible?
First-time sellers ("sellers") who activate the offer on the promotion landing page, and then create qualifying listings during the Promotion Listing Period (as defined below) will be eligible for an eBay Coupon. A first-time seller is defined as an eBay registered user who has never sold an item on eBay.com (under any user ID).
When is it?
The Promotion will begin on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 00:00:01 PT (12:00AM plus one second), and will end on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 23:59:59 PT (11:59PM plus 59 seconds) ("Promotion Listing Period") for listings on www.ebay.com. Sellers who list item(s) during the Promotion Listing Period, complete one or more bona fide sales, and receive payment in full for the item(s) from the buyer(s) totaling at least $25 by 23:59:59 PT by Tuesday, July 7, 2015 (the "Promotion Selling End Date"), will be eligible to earn an eBay Coupon.
What is the Promotion?
Eligible sellers who activate the offer and then create qualifying listings* during the Promotion Listing Period, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, which sell for a combined value of $25 or more by the Promotion Selling End Date, are eligible to earn a single eBay Coupon valued at $50; shipping fees, taxes, and any other amounts the seller may charge the buyers are not included in the combined selling price consideration (collectively referred to as "Promotion").

* Qualifying listings can be in the auction-style, auction-style with the Buy It Now feature added, or fixed price formats and do not include Real Estate or Classified Ad listings.

How do I earn the eBay Coupon?
The value of the coupon earned will be $50 if qualified listings sell for a combined value of $25 or more by the Promotion Selling End Date. (Please note, this is a combined total and will count sales of all qualified listings during the Promotion.). For example, if the total value of the items listed during the Promotion Listing Period, that are sold by July 7, 2015 is $100, a Coupon will be issued. If the total value of the items that are sold is $15, a Coupon will not be issued, as the minimum selling threshold was not met.

An item is defined as listed when it is posted for sale on eBay.com and the listing is maintained until 1) the item sells, or 2) the end of the listing period is reached. An item is defined as sold when it is paid for in full by a buyer. The eBay Coupon will be awarded within two weeks after July 7, 2015. Once credited, the Coupon will also be available in the "Messages" tab within "My eBay". The Coupon is not transferable. The Coupon is subject to other terms and conditions. Limit of one (1) Coupon per eligible, participating seller. Users will have until the date listed on the Coupon to redeem on www.ebay.com.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:
Please take time to read the full terms for all the details.

This Promotion is available for new sellers only.
Please note: only items listed after the seller activates the offer will qualify for the Coupon.
This promotion is only valid for listings on the US site at www.ebay.com, eBay Motors at www.ebay.com/motors, or with an eBay Mobile application for iOS, Android, Windows, or BlackBerry in the US.
This Promotion does not apply to Real Estate or Classified Ad listings.
Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.
All listings must comply with eBay policies, including eBay's Duplicate Listing policy that allows for the removal of duplicate fixed price listings.
This Promotion does not apply to listings created prior to activation, or with a start date prior to Monday, June 1, 2015, including those listings revised during the Promotion Listing Period. To be eligible for the Coupon, the item(s) must be listed during the Promotion Listing Period, and must sell by July 7, 2015. An item is defined as sold when it is paid for in full by a buyer.

Can already see Slickdealers starting numerous ebay accounts and selling $25 worth of fake product to each other to collect ebay's $50 promotion and this turning into the beats pill thread.

Just because your seller account with previous sales accepts it, it doesn't mean your "first sale" will qualify for it.

knowing eBay, they probably do this on purpose. Letting a bunch of people think they qualify for their promo and make unqualified sales. Cha-Ching for them.

I found that eBay has a long history of not honoring these kinds of promos, even if you do follow all the rules. The most recent fiasco was the "Sell Your Smartphone" promo where eBay guaranteed a set price based on the phone sold - and then used every trick in the book to weasel out of it if your phone sold for less than the guaranteed price.

Bet this thread gets interesting in July when these credits are supposed to be sent out.
