Really good deal, about $20 lower than the lowest price for a 27" IPS.

In America, we use Thick and Thin/Wide and Narrow as comparator pairs . . . and one never discusses thickness in mixed company. Smilie

I'm not sure if you got that he was saying that the bezel is fat, like an American is fat.

Which are twice the price of this LG.

I picked up a similar model (27MP33) recently and it's been wonderful. Bright, sharp, and fast enough for regular gaming and movies.

LG makes a narrow bezel, but it's the 27EA63V-P.

The monitor in this deal definitely does NOT have a narrow bezel.

Anyone use a monitor like this for a TV? We'd like something in that size range for a bedroom TV (+ Chromecast FTW!) but most of the sub-$200 options are knock-off brands.

I hate rebates, but was in the market for a monitor for a friends birthday and I couldn't turn down this deal.

Tried to begin the rebate process immediately after ordering, but of course they can ready to bill you while being unready to begin processing the rebate.

I'm not sure if you got what he was saying at all.

Also, tell that to the USWNT Wink

well I got a 24" Vizio Smart TV a while back. I recommend if you can try to find a bigger screen monitor or TV get it at 720p instead of 1080p if it's 32 inches or smaller.

for a cheaper price since it's 720p. since I got my 1080p Vizio smart tv 24 in for 145.99.

It's fine, but you'll need external speakers.

I'll take the chance. Wonder if this is Matte or Glossy? Looks good other than a DVI port would have been much preferable to a VGA.
