That's a good deal...compare to Amazon prices:

$90
http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Arc...+Archer+C7

$90
http://www.amazon.com/ARRIS-Motor..._147_img_y

I am currently using a Motorola/Arris SB 6182 and an old but reliable Netgear WNR2000v2 router, which fit my needs....I get my full 60 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up from Cox (wired). My wireless stuff is old and just uses 2.4Ghz.

But if I were someone wanting to upgrade from DOCSIS 2.0 to DOCSIS 3.0 or 5Ghz or AC...I'd jump on this deal.

OP Repped.

If you don't mind 'refurbished' and depending on your ISP consider the Motorola/Arris SB6182.

I bought one from the seller below and it looks and works like band new:

thanks but this one doesn't work with comcast.

also, the refurbished one's mac may have been recorded and it is a hassle to get it activated I think.

thanks again!

Contact your ISP to confirm compatibility...as stated in the Amazon description.

http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/

Some of the Amazon reviews said they told Comcast it was a SB6183 when they registered it, and it worked.

oy, just bought the 6141 last week because I needed a new modem and they threw in a 20$ router. Wish I would have waited now!

they canceled the router because it was OOS, but they kept the cable modem in the order for $87. I'm cancelling.

I'd be all over it if not for the many bad reviews. TW rapes me on the modem fees.
