Yea seems to get some mixed reviews.. wonder what the display lag is like. JVC doesn't have a good record when it comes to that.

super spicy deal. I've been lurking for a 60-70 and this for the price is definitely worth it. Most of the bad reviews on Amazon seem to be by people unfamiliar with streaming services and blame the TV for the roku stick. It was 1,187.59 Out The Door for those wondering. Tax and apparently only a $5 CA recycling fee.

I have one, any specific questions ? I bought it during the P.C Richard deal for $1350.
I would definitely jump on this deal if I did not already own one. I had an issue where it often would not handshake correctly to see my Tivo Premiere on power-up. Called service line, they had me do a few checks to verify it wasn't just the HDMI cable or only port 1, and that I didn't have the issue with the PS3, etc. Then they sent out a repairman who installed a new mainboard, which fixed the problem. Picture is great, I've downloaded 4K content to a thumb drive and played it. Have not tried to stream 4K it via built-in web browser.

How's gaming with the PS3? Any noticeable display lag? Are there any settings specifically for gaming?

Could you access Netflix via the built-in browser and stream 4K that way?

From what I've been reading, it sounds like it has no native ability to stream 4K content, which is a sore point for most reviews. If you have a device that can stream 4K, like the NVIDIA SHIELD, then that'll work.

Doesn't seem like AppleTV, Roku, FireTV, or any other device (except for the SHIELD) can stream 4K at the moment.. What you need is a 4K TV like Sony or Samsung that have native apps to stream this Ultra HD video. I bet that Roku and all the other devices will be updating their hardware pretty soon though.

Hmm. I guess $1080 + $300 for NVIDIA SHIELD is still a good price.

Odd that they aren't many reviews on this TV out there ...
