Got one.

For my first post I present to you:

Akorn Kamado Kooker 22 in. Charcoal Grill in Grey with Cart for $259
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Char-G.../204151650

For those of you without $600 and up to spend on the more expensive Kamados this is a great deal! with a cart!!

Hard to beat this price lowest was without a cart for 239 about a month ago.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Bargain with cart. Good grill. Will work 95-98%% as good as green egg. Basically you can't tell the difference. Just $1,000 cheaper and shorter life. Oh yeah you can actually move it without finding three other people to help you...

Good discounted price! Beats the heck out of Weber's table version. A built in table is essential unless you already have a setup like my neighbor who found a cheap stainless table at Costco. This would be great to transport in my truck to friends parties or camp sites in my truck.

If you are going full Kamado, try the Home Depot...
Vision Grills Model # S-4C1D1 Internet # 202926563 Store SKU # 1000642186 Kamado Pro Ceramic Charcoal Grill $700.

In my opinion, it is better than green egg or kamado joe.

Is second this. I smoke a rack of short ribs yesterday and the night before grilled peppers and onions I also use it as a pizza oven.

both 306 in cooking surfaces so it appears so.

Im wondering why the one with the kart usually sells for less that without the kart?

Is this thing really better than the Weber Deluxe? I really want the gas starter and will mostly be grilling. My understanding is the Weber is of much better quality and the Akorn will fall apart after a few years.

Yes,

Basically a Green Egg caliber cooker. Not quality equal to the egg but I would rather buy four of these over a 20 year period than one egg.
