Good deal for a snapdragon 200, that just makes the moto g for $20 that much better. But who knows when they will clearance the rest out or if they already have with the 3rd gen of moto phones about to come out.

The problem with these Verizon prepaid phones are that they are only able to activate on Verizon prepaid and not their MVNO's. Spending $45. a month for service with this budget phone is just not attractive. At least the Moto G has a high quality screen and all around solid features.

No 4G LTE, so I doubt it would be able to be used on GSM networks.

If it's Verizon, most likely CDMA and no SIM card slot (especially if it doesn't have 4G LTE).

Even if it did have a SIM card slot for 4G LTE, I don't think it could be used on any SIM card network no matter where you are. If anyone knows otherwise, please correct me.

This is basically for people who need a fancy .mp3 player or are already a Verizon, Verizon-based MVNO customer, or for places internationally that use CDMA bands (if the ESN can be released from Verizon's prepaid service).

Thats right. Only CDMA, no GSM.

first off, having sim card means its at least capable of doing gsm. my vzw note 3 has sim slot and i used it on tmobile for a few month so you never know. i would probably look it up before replying as many recent phones are capable of both cdma and gsm.
