Now I feel dumb for getting this at 350. That said, this AT&T version is still stuck on android 5.0.1. There is no update yet for 5.1.1 on this particular model. Bootloader is locked, no custom roms or recovery. There are not even any stock images to download in case you brick the device. That said, there is root. With root, I'm able to get 2 days of battery life with moderate use by disabling/uninstalling LG junk and other useless programs that run in the background. Never had any heat issues even prior to rooting, just bad battery life. I also modified thermal settings of cpu per xda, and still no heat issues.

If only this could have Qi charging. I guess I should just find an AT&T G3 go replace my D855.

Damn it, bought this last time for $330.
I love it but battery life is not that good compared to the G3 and OPO that I have. Maybe I will root it this weekend and remove LG/ATT crap.

After my abysmal experience with my LG G3 I am never going to buy any LG phone ever. Everything sucks on the LG.

Never feel dumb for seeing a technology item cheaper in the future. If you want to feel dumb, feel dumb for thinking the price wouldn't drop. Stick Out Tongue
