for anyone who doesn't know a lot about these smart thermostats, I have been told by many experts that you will lose money with these if you have electric heating. For gas they're great though

had this unit, it sucks!

my furnace was freaking out because of it. had my installer come take a look at the job I did and was told I did all of it right. a corner of the main unit bubbled (where the sensor is) and ecobee told me it was normal.. the guy actually said it's just aesthetics. but for days they said they don't see the bubble in the pic. everyone I showed without saying anything about the huge bubble said.. is that a button? the remote unit doesn't pick up the same temperature 10 feet away from the main unit. the remote sensed a 2 degree difference which the people at ecobee said is normal....

don't bother with this unit if you like actually saving money

I was losing money with gas using this unit. it's awful in every way.
