Only 2 HDMI ports kinda kills this deal.

Hows the TV quality? Can anyone comment on it? Also, you could always buy an HDMI splitter to add more ports

Why do you need more than 2?

How about...

1. Cable box
2. PS4
3. Amazon Fire TV
4 Chomecast, etc....

Why would you ask a question like this?

You can also make your TV smart with a fire box or Roku but that is not the point now is it?

Agreed! Have two now and the splitter option is a hassle.

I have owned this TV for about a year and a half. It was exactly what I was looking for. The pictures quality is really good for the price. The sound quality is flat. Lucky for me Sam's Club had a price mistake on a good soundbar and it pairs well with the tv. I have a Roku 3 connected to it, so it is better than morst smart tvs now. Yes it only has two HDMI ports and even though I have a splitter I have never needed to use it.

I only need two. Xbox one and computer. All my needs are within those two.

You should be buying a smart box over a smart tv anyway

My bro got this tv a couple of years back and it's no Samsung but it's fairly decent for what you're paying

I bought this same TV a year ago for $500. It does the job. I usually upgrade once every 5 years, so this was a big jump from my old 32 inch 720p tv. Video Q\quality is acceptable, but your higher end brands are always going to put it to shame. I'm not that much of a snob when it comes to TV specs though. Stock speakers are terrible, so a sound bar or surround sound is a necessity. The remote is incredibly cheap, but I use my cable box remote so its not something I deal with on the reg.

If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a smart-tv then this is a solid unit. I do all my streaming through my consoles, so the lack of HDMI ports doesn't really effect me. I say go for it, but get the extended warranty because the first one I had crapped out on me 5 hours into the first day I had it. 2nd one has been fine for the last 1.5 years though.

First world problems. LOL

I only "need" 2 ports, and I could even get by with 1. Blu-Ray player and computer (could just buy a SATA blu-ray drive for the computer).

First world problems, you are correct. I don't need that set up b/c you can stream whatever you want with Kodi side loaded on Fire TV.
