MEID wont activate on ring plus but seem activatable on TING

Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor
1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor.
Android 4.4 KitKat operating system
4G LTE speed
Bluetooth 4.0
4.7" qHD touch-screen display
With IPS technology and 960 x 540 resolution Corning Gorilla Glass 2
microSDHC card slot
Enables you to expand storage by up to 32GB (card not included).
8.0MP BSI rear-facing camera with flash
high-definition videos with 1080p resolution. The 1.3MP front-facing camera
FM plug and pop with headphone antennae
GPS navigation
IR Remote and 4g LTE Spark-enabled

Activation tips:

Double check MEID/ESN/ICCID.
Keep in mind on older devices you may want to activate on RP+ (I think 2012 and earlier) CDMA carriers would install software /muck with the device so device could NOT be used on another carrier... So keep that in mind on older devices...

If you're trying to activate a device from *Android device, the browser may not play nice with RP+ website..

*Some may be doing this.. My advice use a PC.

Yeah I'm thinking the same. But in terms of dollar cost averaging - it's like paying $30 to double up on another Volt. Hmm...

No resale value for Sprint variant, around $60.

Wait and let it drop to $20-$25.

'bout time someone posted this, saw it early am at Ringplus thread. The SPP VOLT 2 is also on sale @$99, not really worth double the price.
The Truly Free plan on Ringplus is still going, free activation and no credit card needed if you want to try it out. Easy activation and great phone, don't even need to open the box, just enter IMEID and CCD ID for auto update.. $20 VOLT was a price mistake, you won't see that again for awhile.
I have been watching the BB deals for awhile now and this is a good deal. What is odd is the normal msrp was a lot higher

Good enough price for me but does anyone know if it can be activated out of the box on Ring Plus? My LG Tribute that has been used on Ting for 6 months (and never activated on Sprint) can be so I'm assuming yes but just looking for confirmation.

without rebate or silly cash back baloney? RS left town years ago anyway. BB is close and easy returns if the SPP version has issues. It shouldn't I've activated 3 VM Volts, a boost LG Realm, a VM Lumia, Optimus S, SPP flip phone, on ringplus easily.

I tried the volt side by side with the Boost Moto G on Ringplus. The G pulls a signal so much better then the Volt it's ridiculous!!! It's kind of a big deal with Ringplus because of roaming charges. The G was getting a native Sprint signal in areas the map shows roaming and even a few areas where it shows zero coverage. Also, people complained about an echo whenever I used the speakerphone on the Volt. Other then those two problems it's a decent phone but I had to return mine. If voice quality and signal strength are important to you, the G can still be found pretty cheap.
