For all the Amazon Prime memebers, if you did not use 2 day shipping for past orders and instead accumulated promotional savings, they are not getting applied to orders today. CR are giving straight credit/refund of that money.

The Promotional savings does expire so this a good time to call the CR and get a refund for the amount equal to Promotional certificates. I just got $16 back Smilie

So people who are unaware of this issue will just not get their credits and lose out or is Amazon going to correct this and refund everyone across the board?

Hmm, I added a pet toy to my cart and it is applying a "no-rush credit" to my order. Are you sure the item you added to cart can have the "no-rush" discount credit added to it? The email from Amazon says that it only applies to these categories: "You can use this $5.00 credit towards your next purchase of select Home Improvement, Lawn & Garden, Tools, Sports, Outdoors, or Pets products".

I had this automatically applied to my next order without asking...on 7/22 I randomly got 10 emails in a row that said this:

Hello,

We're writing because you were eligible to receive a No-Rush Shipping promotional credit for your recent order(s), but it didn't apply correctly. To correct this, we've issued a $1 promotional credit to your account. This amount will automatically apply the next time you buy an eligible item shipped and sold by Amazon.com.

We value your business and hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

I then noticed that in my Subscribe & Save set to arrive July 31, $1 promotional credit had been applied to it 10 times in a row.

Pretty nice automation. Smilie
