This thing is loaded and has every input you could need and 4200 lumens. If I needed a new projector I would grab this guy.

I have a 1280x800 projector and it is perfectly fine for blu ray movies and games. You barely notice the upscale to full 1080p.

$199 with free shipping!

All Epson refurbs come with BRAND NEW BULBS btw

DON'T BUY

no lens included

Specs are decent, esp for the price, but note a few things:

Power Consumption:

Normal mode: 423 W Is this a typo? I've never seen a consumer proj that high of power usage
Network off: 0.6 W standby
Fan Noise:

Low Light Output mode: 30 dB
High Light Output mode: 37 dB
Security:

Kensington(R)-style lock provision
Security anchor (metal) bar
Dimensions
Including feet: With standard lens: 18.5" x 13.26" x 5.94" (W x D x H)

Excluding feet and lens: 18.5" x 12.27" x 5.31" (W x D x H)

Weight: 14.81 lb
That's pretty big and heavy

Just FYI for those wanting to pull the trigger. There is no LENS on this unit. The Lens cost about 599 or more retail. Good projector, just expensive lens.

yeah it is a big guy and you probably would want to mount it and leave it in place. I think the wattage is based off "max blast" if I had this I would run it in eco mode because 4200 lumens is BRIGHT

I have a 2600 lumens Optoma and its killer for darker rooms, but that extra lumens would be nice for when it is sunny out

This seems like it would be most at home in a conference room about 5 years ago. That critique aside, if you can put up with the awkwardness and don't mind the resolution, it seems like quite a steal.

Edit: Lol, just saw the tiny lens not included print. Now to be worth it this needs to be a DIY lens project as well. The audience for this is pretty limited.

Here's another projector which is similar (4500 lumens! and 1280x800) but it ALSO includes the 'standard lens.' The drawback is that it lacks HDMI and that it is $250 more. After seeing the astronomical prices they're charging for lenses, $250 more for a lens and a unit which lacks HDMI doesn't sound that bad anymore.

I'm not sure but I think the lens on this deal I'm mentioning could be removed and put on the G5200WNL (NL = No Lens).
