GPS Navigation System similar to Hertz NeverLost

If you have rented from Hertz and used their navigation system, you probably are already familiar with the Hertz NeverLost GPS system. If you aren't, here is a link to the product:

http://www.neverlost.com/Products

It isn't the most stylish but I do like the way it handles, specifically two features:
1. the beeping sound right before you need to turn off the highway
2. It tells you which lane you need to be in BEFORE you need to be in it

Also, I like it when it tells you the next step to expect if it will quickly following.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a navigation system that did all this that you can purchase from an amazon or BestBuy?

Ideally, I would like to keep it under $150 but would entertain anything up to $200.

Also, 4.3in LCD minimum w/ 5in being ideal.

Thanks all!

I have never used hertz gps, but I used both tomtom and garmin (4 different models) for years. I could tell you that the two features you mentioned are the essential features for a GPS. The question is your preference.

For example, "the beeping sound right before you need to turn off the highway". Instead of beeping, most of the GPS will tell you which exit you need to turn off. The question is "right before", one mile before? half mile before? or 100 feet before? The tomtom I used will tell you before 2 miles and repeat at one mile and quarter mile.

"It tells you which lane you need to be in BEFORE you need to be in it" It is called lane assist or lane guidance. The same as first point, different manufactures have different interface.

I recommend you to google some GPS comparison posts to start with. Like this one: http://www.gpspassion.com/fr/articles.asp?id=279. You may not find the most recent models in the post, but the interface should not change too much. Then buy one or two from store which has good return policy and test them by yourself.
