Thread Details

Found $150 rt allegiant airfair end of September. Have not purchased yet.

Single guy. Don't gamble much. Don't drink much. Hotel Criteria don't get robbed. Shower. Walk to strip. No tetanus shot required after.

Saw hostels for like $20 a night. Most reviews did not seem good. All the hotels seem to have $20 surcharge.

Looking for 7 nights under $250 total? Cheap rental car camp?

Just planning to walk around. Maybe a show. Anything inexpensive food entertainment? Input appreciated.

What dates are you going? For that price, you'd probably have to do something off strip, since they have those scammy resort fees these days.

I usually use www.mycheapvegas.com to book hotels, but there's some cheaper ones in there like the LINQ and what not.

However, it seems you need a budget hotel, so in that case, maybe try something like the Orleans, Hooters, or Gold Coast, through www.orbitz.com and use their 15% off promo code.

The $22 fee is almost as much as hotel rate.

Do all nevada hotels have the high fees?

http://www.smartervegas.com/resortfees.aspx

Good place to look for rooms: http://vegashotelspecial.com/

Your base resort fee is going to be $15+ and thats for the crap of the crap.

If you can budget, I highly recommend staying as close to the Strip if not on the Strip. I def understand the concept of saving money but also consider the time, effort, and money you'll spend attempting just to get to the Strip or downtown.

So I'm looking for Vegas hotels, too - but for Labor Day weekend. Trying to find something for girlfriend and I to stay at around $250-$300 total for two nights. Sept. 4 and 5. I've looked around on smartvegas and cheapvegas sites, but not finding too much. Would like to be on the strip, but don't have to be. Any ideas? Or does anyone see or know of anything? Could definitely use some help.

Skyscanner.com

prices probably don't include about $30/night in taxes/fees

I thought you were trying to do $250 all in. I forgot to mention that sometimes groupon has vegas hotel deals too, not sure if they're any good but worth checking out.
