Thanks. Been waiting for a deal on this and didn't even know about the possible AMEX checkout cashback. Gave it a shot.

Can this be used to power 12V devices? such as a 12V laptop charger? Or purely for starting/battery charging?

I don't see why not, but it only puts out the 14/15 Volts (my guess for starting) on the alligator clips. You would need an adapter.

There is another make/model that included laptop charging.

Here is the old thread.

Looks like it is actually a $1 cheaper than the price when it was originally posted.

Obviously it is more expensive and a little lower mah than this unit but it is designed to charge laptops and comes with the adapters and tips.
By the time you finagled something together for that part, you might be in that same ball park anyways.

Company stands behind their products, unlike many others. Ordered a battery pack from Amazon, gave it bad review. They called me and replaced 2 units, without any issues or hassle. Will pick one of these up as well. Seems good.

Picked this up on Amazon prime day for $35. Already used my MV50 air compressor and jumped a 3.2l car with it. Battery still shows as fully charged. Great item but interior packaging stinks

I was just texting one of my mechanic buddies about these the other day. He bought his off the Snap-On truck for significantly more than this one and his is only a 200 start/400 peak version. Much better than hauling around a jumppack from HF which is nothing but a motorcycle battery with some cables attached.

Mine arrived and I think it has issues.

Picked it up and tried to get into the flashlight ... nothing ... charged it and it fired right up at the 25% and 50% light blinking. I leave it there for about 2 hours charging and its still showing the same lights as when I first plugged it in so I decide to unplug it.

Battery now shows 100% permanently when not charging but none of the usbs work (tried multiple items and cords). Flashlight works though. I decide to leave it alone for a few hours and it still is showing 100% (all 4 % lights) without me pushing the button at all.

Seems I cant turn it off and it wont automatically power off ... all I see are all of the percentage lights shining. Button isn't doing anything other than the long hole to cycle through the flashlight patterns.

Think it needs a complete discharge needs to occur but I'm not sure how to do that since usbs aren't doing anything.

Anybody got any advice ?
