Wasn't there a deal earlier this week (now expired) for the Black Edition of this same card for the same price AR?

you should have grabbed two!

I got the 290 for $200, but it hasn't touched that price since then.

I could have, but it's not like people sell them in pairs all the time. To be honest, I'd rather a single more powerful card than two cards in crossfire. Maybe a 290x.

Quick question about this rebate - it says "limit 2 per person, but limit 1 application per envelope..."

So for two, are the applications separate or the same one?

For "4myrebate" rebates, you can select the quantity while going through the online process. Then you'll print your application form, and if you've selected two, the total reward will include both rebates. Then you just send everything in the same envelope, with one form. UPC's (as necessary) are both/all applied to the same form, print one invoice and highlight the quantity of 2 purchased, etc.

tl;dr: One envelope.
