ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. Excuse my language.

Just got back from wasting my hour lunch break at Gap to find out that these to do not combine the 40% off the first 5 items 50% off... though it clearly states 40% off your ENTIRE purchase and *NO EXCLUSIONS*. Returned my $200 purchased and called Gap corporate as told by the store manager. The corporate rep agreed that the marketing team messed up by stating no exclusions though apparently there is an exclusion...

Told me they would relay my frustration to the market team. Asked for the manger who then told me they would send a $20 gift card via e-mail.

Furious about this misleading marketing by the Gap company. Don't get fooled either.

So you expected 50% of the first five items and then ANOTHER 40% off on top of that? Example: The khakis I want are $59.99 and 50% off of that would be 29.99 and then ANOTHER 40% off of that would be under $18. Might be asking for too much...

I 'expected' what was clearly stated on the advertisement. The whole 'too good to be true' rules applies here I guess... vomit

.. so you didn't check your total before swiping your card?

you may have wasted your own time. I would have checked with a sales rep that the deal is going on before actually shopping. if not, im heading out.

No exclusion, but can't be used on clearance LOL. It should of said only one exception/exclusion.

*40% off purchase at Gap, Gap Outlet, Gap Factory Stores, gapfactory.com, and gap.com: Offer valid 8/7/15 at 12:01am ET through 8/9/15 at 11:59PM ET at Gap, Gap Outlet, Gap Outlet Kids & Baby, Gap Factory Stores, gapfactory.com, and gap.com in the US only (including Puerto Rico). Not valid in the clearance center. Offer valid for multiple use. In stores, cashier enter code at register. Online, customer enter code at checkout.
