Out of Stock

The Ti-84 Plus CE features a lighter and thinner case, a rechargeable battery, and a processor that has a theoretical speed boost of 300%.

A lot of people are thread-crapping. This calculator came out in 2015 and is not the same as your several decade old Ti83/TI84. Also, any student who is pursuing a career in STEM often follow directions in textbooks that are suited for the TI84. Standardized testing also prevents students from using an online capable device such as a laptop or smartphone as a calculator.

Overall, this is a slick deal.

How many times do we have to see these $88 calculators at Walmart? This is at least the 4th or 5th time in about the past week.

Does anyone know if this can be PMed and use this Staples coupon (like the deal from a week or so ago?)

That is what I did a couple of weeks ago, I had Staples PM to Target price of $90 (Walmart was out of stock). It needed the manager's approval and the rebate form printed out with the receipt and I submitted my rebate online. Smilie

i was a little worried to see this pop up again, as the last email I got said 'your order was delayed'. (that was about a week ago). just checked site now and it said my order is processing and will arrive by Tues Aug 4th... hmmm

noticing the two pages have different walmart stock numbers, and model numbers are 84PLCE/TBL/1S1 and 84PLCE/TBL/1L1

these things should only worth $10. I remember paying $90 for them 20 years ago in High School. I could justify the price back then because it was the only graphing calculator. Now even a basic smart phone with an app can do everything it can do. I don't know how Ti can keep these prices up.

When you have a monopoly on something, you can do this type of shit. A shame, but true. Welcome to capitalism.

20 years ago would be Ti-83 or earlier, at least 3 models lower than this Ti-84+ color model. Big difference in speed, memory, display resolution, and color.

Agreed. Even though TI didn't innovate much for a while, these newer CE calculators provide nice upgrades to the very user-friendly 84 model. And maybe $88 is still expensive, however, there's no way these things could be considered to be valued at $10. That's scientific calculator territory, and these can do so much more - and do it very well, too.

I would call this deal very good, and that's what this site is all about. After school starts, they won't be under $130 again for some time.

I think some people are confusing this for the TI-84 normal model, which has been posted at a similar price before. This is the new updated version with color and is priced almost $50 more. This is a pretty slick deal. Because TI has a monopoly on these calculators, you're not going to find good prices on them easily.
