Here's a link to my Amazon video review showing me using just this car jumper (took the leads off the battery) to starti a 4.0L v6 Jeep GrandCherokee. I actually jumped the car twice in a row to show that it has enough juice.

I have had to use my friends a couple times and it works great. Hooked it up, wait about 30 seconds and always turns on. (somehow i keep taking my headlights from auto to manual and killing my battery)

I got one of these a few months back. These are really compact and hold quite a charge. I am thinking of getting a few more as practical Christmas presents. These are so much safer than jumper cables.

I own 2 Anker Jump Starters and both work wonderfully.

If you have a V8 engine, you may want to consider getting the Premium model next time it's on sale.

Why do you say that? I have a performance 4 cylinder turbo charged engine.....do you think this has enough oomph for that?

there is a big difference between a big displacement v8 and a turbo 4 unless your 4 cylinder is more than 4L or the v8 is under 3.5l. also turbos use exhaust it shouldnt be any more difficult to start. a supercharger would be different since it is belt driven

Check your car's engine before buying this. For many sedans it's probably enough but not for a minivan or a larger truck. This is enough for my Sonata but probably not enough juice for my Odyssey which has a 3.5 L engine.

So you're going to bypass a good deal because you have to pay taxes????

I'm taking a wild guess that it'd be less than $5....put on ya big boy pants

Cranking amps. Your 4cyl does not require as many cranking amps. I'd guess its 2.4L or less. Larger displacement engines have heavier parts to move with more surface area requiring stronger starters that pull more amps.
