Deal DetailsLast Edited by widgit August 12, 2015 at 12:07 AM
This seems to be the best way to burn your prime pantry credits from the no rush shipping. Buy 4 select items get free shipping.
I just placed an order for 4 packs of vitamin water and it gave me the free shipping and used $5 no rush credit
$5 no rush credit
so $10 of my credits in one order
Got 4 packs of vitamin water for
Item(s) Subtotal: $17.96
Prime Pantry Delivery: $5.99
Promotion Applied: -$5.99
No-Rush Credit: -$5.00
Your Coupon Savings: -$0.90
No-Rush Credit: -$5.00
Total before tax: $7.06
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.50
Grand total: $7.56

* Minimum Spend: $5.99
Basically, no matter what, you will have to pay a minimum of $5.99 (+tax) per order. Say you add 4 items, the total is $12.99 and you have two $5 pantry credits to apply. You will only see $7 of that $10 apply. So just add stuff to hit $5.99 and that filler is essentially free.
* 2x$5 Pantry Credit Stacking:
I believe that this was happening because the $5 pantry credit occurred in two different promotions (one set expires Oct 16, the other Oct 30). My first three orders allowed me to apply two at once. Now I can't stack the credits since the remaining ones all have the same Oct 30 expiration date and count as the same promotion.
* Buy 4 select items to waive shipping:
One way to use this deal is to get cheap fillers if you were planning on ordering other stuff from Prime Pantry anyways.
Trident Gum was my go-to filler, although the O-Cel-O sponges in the cleaning section were $.18 cheaper as a filler.
Useful site for finding Pantry fillers: sortbyprime.com. Filter by Pantry items only and set a low upper price limit.
For example, I was looking at King Arthur flour, $5.99 here in NYC, $3.49 on Prime Pantry (and even Gold Medal is $3.49 via FreshDirect). I was able to get two bags of King Arthur + 4 packs of Trident gum for:
$6.98 (flour) + $8.68 (gum) + 5.99 (shipping) - ($5.99) (Shipping promo) - $5 (Pantry Promo) - $4.67 (Pantry Promo leaving a balance of $5.99)
= $5.99 (+ tax on gum) for $12 of flour + $8 of gum

Note: Also a reminder that if you apply a coupon valid for a line of items on an order, that coupon is not applicable for future orders. i.e. Adding a Kashi bar as a cheap filler will work the first time, but then everything else won't have the 25% discount, so if you happen to like the Kashi items on the buy 4 promo, you'll want to order them all at once.
