HomeDepot has it for the same price, may be able to stack with a lowes coupon code via online chat order.

Lowes also sells you may be able to price match for the "beat it by 10%"

YMMV on both and don't forget about Discover Cashback.

^ THIS THIS THIS

I am going to have Lowe's match Home Depot's price, and do the beat it by 10% deal which then makes this generator $240-$24 = $216. then I am using Lowe's gift cards that I bought from that ebay deal ($100 gift card for $90 - I bought 2 of them). so that's another $20 in savings right there so net price is really $216 - $20 = $196

if they then allow me to use a 10% mover's coupon after the price match it will be even better, but I don't think they will do that but we'll see. i'll be calling Lowe's when I get home from work

Step 1: Find an interlock kit that's compatible with your panel. Chances are the model in HD/Lowe's will not fit your box without a lot of modification. Here is where I bought mine: http://www.interlockkit.com/. Mine was $150.

Step 2: Buy generator inlet. Search on Amazon for "Reliance generator inlet". If you are getting the larger Wen models, get the higher amp version. the smaller Wen models you can get away with the 30 amp model.

Step 3: Buy L14-30 generator cord if you want to run 240V (10/4 wire): http://www.amazon.com/Conntek-206...FCRS846G3S. You can buy different lengths, I use a 50 ft cord but some may prefer to save money and get a 25 ft cord

Step 4: Go to HD/Lowe's and tell them what you are doing and they will assist you in getting flexible conduit, additional wiring, 30 amp double pole (240V) breaker for generator inlet, etc (or the higher amp one for the larger gen). They can even help you get a drill bit and any necessary wall anchors.

Step 5: Either do it yourself per the youtube videos or pay an electrician. You are providing all materials so he should only be charging you a labor rate. This job should not take longer than 1 hour. If you are running across long distances or through thick masonry...ok add 30 mins. You should not have to pay more than 2 labor hrs for this job.
