Changhong LED50YC2000UA Calibration Settings

SlickRook 144 35 August 13, 2015 at 01:57 PM
Just scooped the LED50YC2000UA for $325 from newegg. Only got one dead pixel in bottom right corner so I'm ok with that. Question is what settings are yall using for this puppy. I'm running xbox360 as an extender for media center through hdmi to it.

I did a few searches and found results all over the place. Hoping someone has calibrated this thing and has some good settings. Thanks.

Currently running the following:

Contrast: 50
Brightness: 50
Sharpness 60
Energy Saving Mode: on
DNR: middle
Backlight: 40

Color Temperature: User
Red: 52
Green: 50
Blue: 48

You might check over at They often have early adopters there, and are quite enthusiastic about tweaking calibrations.

How did I end up here...
It won't always look the same from TV to TV even if it's the same model/brand. I used CNET's professional calibration settings for my TV model, and it looked a lot worse than what I had picked by eyeballing.
