Oh man. I was really happy when TD accidentally shipped me an extra pack. When I opened the package to inspect on the straps, there were so much fine bits of velcro dust fell out. Made a lot of mess and annoyed the heck out of me. Then each time you unstrap one to use, more dust came off. So I gave them away to a friend. I'll stick with the real velcro brand from Amazon that you can get for $3 on sale. It's much better quality too.

Just becareful when you open it. Maybe open it near a trash can and shake out all the dust first.

Ha! He loves free stuff and actually wanted both of them. Better than throwing them away I guess. He is too lazy to do rebates so sometimes I'll buy some of the FAR items for him if I think he can make use of them.

What is it with websites failing to load due to their own cookie mismangement issues? I often have to clear my TigerDirect cookies before I click, or it says:

408 Request Time-out

Your browser didn't send a complete request in time.

The URL it gets stuck on begins with: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click? .......

rebate registration for the cable ties is glitchy, can't get it to go past selecting basic over expedited - error says payment amount below amount allowed for payment type (amex rebate card), no option to choose a check instead. I'll try it later, they'll probably fix it soon enough.

Thanks. Product is nice but I hate rebates.

Product price - 5% CB - rebate + stamp = total

3.99 - $0.20 - $4+ $0.49 = $0.28

That's $0.056 per strap.

I usually buy lower quality in bulk on ebay because I like to keep all my wires organized and even the lower quality ones do the job.
The ones I get are smaller but can be joined if needed. My target price is $0.03 per strap but I'm tempted to get these because of the loop.

These are the ones usually get: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281759028...EBIDX%3AIT

now the error on the rebate registration page shows:
Offer Maximum: 0 claim(s) per household

Can't get past that page at all. Wtf?

Still not working - same error? I emailed TD, I'll see what they tell me.
