Some nice prices, including $99.99 for their 12" copper core frying pan, which may be their lowest ever price for that piece. Shipping is $6 flat rate.

I have and been very pleased. They are not returns but rather just products that didn't meet the cosmetic standard for being sold at full price. After 10 minutes of use I wasn't able to tell where the imperfections had been anyway.

Thanks for the insights. Are those cosmetic issue obvious (like a huge scratch on the pan) or something minor?

I demand perfection from myself and all that I surround myself with. I'm not sure how I'll feel about this.

In for 2 items. Will be interesting to see the flaws. I'm good as long as they cook well.

Being an aspiring Michelin starred chef myself, I can not see how I can possibly cook using anything, but perfection! nod

No, because you could use the pebble to break a display case and steal a perfect diamond.

At America's Test Kitchen... All-Clad always takes 1st place in tests. However, Tramontina always comes in a close 2nd place.

Tramontina available at Walmart and some pieces, at times, at Costco... at about 1/4th the price of All-Clad.

I don't have either but have had a professional set by Magnalite for the last 15 years.... it does everything perfectly, too.

FWIW...

I bought a stainless steel 3 quart saucier at the last sale. There's a small blemish (about 1/4 inch circle) on the underside of the pan. Otherwise, no one could tell it was a factory second. Obvious, maybe. Take a look a this not high quality pic.

Edit: The rest of the pan is perfect.
