Why isn't Sprint offering the Note 4?

DrLecter 233 140 August 17, 2015 at 07:05 PM
I heard it may have had problems with a recent Lollipop upgrade. The Note 5 is also in pre-release. Note 4 is no longer offered on the website, and the salesman at a Sprint store told me that Sprint told them not to sell them until further notice. Is it the update issue, or is Samsung having Sprint shove the Note 5/ 6 Edge+ down everybody's throats? I am about to return to Sprint, and I want the removable battery/SD Card that the Note 4 has. I just have a company that doesn't want to sell it to me. Anybody heard either way? Thanks

Samsung used to be top dog. They seem to have stopped caring. Good riddance

I have a Note 4 on VZW. The lollipop update was not great but it also was not terrible. Phone is totally useable on it. I have 4 Note 4's that I see on a regular basis. No one has complained. Personally I notice battery life is not as good. This should get better when the phone gets 5.1.1. Samsung has never been known for their lightning fast software but you replace the launcher and do a few tweeks and it's not bad.

I rarely trust anyone in a carrier store. They generally are lower level and are salesmen at the end of the day. I would say if you want a Note4 your fine and pick one up online with the links someone above posted.

I just bought one at a best buy in Phoenix. Call around cause I had to try a few stores to find one. I moved from the note 2 to the note 4. Can confirm this phone is awesome, I see no problems with it. Think Samsung realized that people were not going to be happy about no SD card and removable battery And slowed production/shipping. I waited 6 months past upgrade eligibility and went with the note 4 the day after the 5 was announced. No regrets at all.

I have a note 4 and am pretty happy other than the trial version of visual voicemail you can't get rid of on Verizon, my Sister has a Note 4 on ATT and I think Verizon's version looks better
