Looks like amazon has this price again for next ~19 hours. Just copying post from before, thanks OP.

Back again but now $10 less at Amazon.

Amazon [amazon.com]has the Acer CB5-571-C09S 15.6" 1080p Chromebook for $259.99. Shipping is free.

This is the lowest price this particular model has been.

Intel Celeron Processor 3205U
15.6" Full HD IPS Display
1920 x 1080 resolution
4GB DDR3L SDRAM Memory
32GB SSD
802.11AC WiFi (Dual-Band 2.4GHz and 5GHz)

Performance benchmarks [omgchrome.com] of the new Acer Intel 3205U models vs other Chromebooks.

Staples thread for reference.

Side Note* - When Staples had this for $269.99 two weeks ago I requested an Amazon price-match and they refused and then raised the price for whatever reason. Now after Staples goes out of stock they put it on sale for $10 cheaper. WTF Amazon?
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I'm the OP. Thank you for trying. The easiest way to reactivate a previously expired thread is to hit the "Mod Alert" button and type a short message. The Slickdeals moderators take a look at the notice and typically activate the thread within 30 minutes.

You also can't just copy and paste posts with links in them. You will break the hyperlinks by doing this. If you're new to SD and aren't sure about posting or something else just ask first. People here are usually very quick to help. On the flip side, if you post first, make mistakes and ask questions later, prepare to take a lot of flak.
