Yeah it's not spectacular. I wasn't expecting FP but I'm surprised at the TD's.
The price is still a deal. A 64GB phone of this caliber for an effective $100 is not bad at all.

I bought three of the $140 32GB phones.

I installed Cyanogenmod on one to play nice with my Moto 360 from the BB deal.

I think the Fire OS is decent.

I haven't got to try Fire OS yet. But if I was to buy a phone with no Google services integration I'd buy a Lumia 640 for $69. It's surprisingly a good phone for how cheap it is...IF you can live without Google Services.

I gave you a TU BTW. I'm not a jerk.

Great phone, but not necessarily a slickdeal. It's been $140 twice now on eBay, And $160 directly from Amazon...

You can side-load Google Services on this quite easily...

Actually this is better than Qualitycellz's $140 deal for some if you account for taxes...

it's very easy to load up google services on the phone. i'm running cheetah launcher and have access to google play store and can play hearthstone, use snapchat, etc

Hopefully the people that got in on this today can cancel and reorder at the 140 and 160 prices that are now available via the other deal.

The biggest problem I have with the lumia 640 is the capacity. it's like a decade old capacity. you really cant do much with it and the next os upgrade might be hindered by that. then there's the VOIP over wifi. android provides great VOIP services through grooveip, hangouts, and other apps for free. windows phone pretty much has skype, which you have to pay for a physical number if you want people outside of skype to call you and you have to pay for the service separately.

Drop in a micro SD card, up to 128 GB, and you're set. Nearly all apps can easily be moved from device storage to the card, an option I wish all devices supported.
