Perfect timing. Have been looking for a deal on the SB6141 since I'm thinking of switching over to TWC in the near future.

avoid the 6121 and spend the $10 on the 6141
both are docsis3, but 41 has double the bonded channel of the 21,
which is something all ISP's take advantage of now to deliver lower latency speeds.

Got one of these last time from woot when posted on SD. Great modem does what I need, I am no power user. Have it on Brighthouse inCFla on their 15 Mbps and consistently hit that and above. Save 4.00 on their rental fee...beware and check your bill first month they tried to continue to charge me....so after about a few more months I will have paid off on my investmentšŸ˜˜

Listen to this advice, get the 41. The 21 will work fine for most folks, I have one and it works great with my 50/10 service, but the 41 is more future proof.

I've heard nightmares about activated refurbished modems with Comcast if the original owner did not remove the product from their account. It will show up that the MAC address belongs to another user, and Comcast may refuse to activate the product.

Should this be something I'm concerned about?

Also -- I'm currently using the SB6120 that I bought in 2011 - I have Comcast Blast! Internet that offers 150mpbs DL/ 20 UL -- Should I see a noticeable uptick with the new modem?

I have Xfinity Blast 150Mbps/10Mbps. I have 1 desktop and 1 laptop, 2 Phones on wifi, chromecast and apple tv. Would the SB6141 with my current router Linksys EA4500 (N900) [amazon.com] be a good choice? Currently leasing the Xfinity TG1682G modem w/ wifi build in for $7 per month.
