New Internet Deal

adriangb 88 10 August 24, 2015 at 07:28 AM
I'm moving next week, and will have to get a new connection at my apartment. It seems like only AT&T and TWC offer service in my are. Both of them are giving me pretty lousy "deals" on their websites (I haven't tried calling CS, but I don't have much leverage since neither is offering a good deal).
Here's an address that's close to but NOT my address: 8720 Costa Verde Blvd San Diego, CA 92122

What they're currently offering is attatched

From what I've heard about AT&T, I'd have to say TWC is the lesser of the two evils. I've had the 300/20 plan and now the 50/5 plan, and although I occasionally have to call a tech out to fix a connection on the outside of the apartment building, the service is pretty solid, and I get 50/5 all day long (not only during slow times of the day).

But for me, since TWC MAXX has already been rolled out in SAT, I get 50/5 for $35/month promo pricing. Even though I'm a heavy data user, 300/20 was just too much bandwidth, even for me. 50/5 does the trick, and everything is downloaded in a timely fashion.

Also, I call in EVERY time the internet goes out and let them know I work from home, and I've gotten about 1.5 months free service for getting a billing credit each time the service goes out. Stick Out Tongue
