good deal, but I have the 2715 (1440p) and really think I want the 34 inch curved 1440 monitor. I'm not sure my eyes can handle much more than 1440 @ 27" without scaling.

Good deal - I've been waiting for a 4K Dell monitor to show up at a reasonable price. Assuming I can sell the Dell Gift card to someone, this should bring the net price down to the $400-ish, which is a darn good price for the 2715. Thanks, OP!

Agreed. I spent $800 years ago for a Dell 3007 WFP which was considered a lot back then for a 30". It has lasted through 3 computer builds and still remains a fantastic monitor. The monitor is one area where it makes sense to invest.

which is why I have a u2715. splurging is not the same as wanting a monitor that doesnt exist...and wod be ridiculously expensive if it did.
