Have been waiting for this to go on sale, bonus it's not through Amazon where I am now charged tax! Thanks, and repped!

This is a very good price, and I almost bit until I read this;

I was curious as to the differences between this model, and the newer version - the HT1075. The above link gives some pretty good real life scenario comparisons.

I am trying to purchase this projector, but I can't find a place to put in the coupon code. I chatted with B&H and this is their reply.

I am sorry, but we do not have Promo codes or Coupons. There is no place on our Website to accept that code. The prices listed on our Website are our lowest available pricing. Occasionally we have promotions offered through direct e-mails, with special links to a version of the Website that can accept a code from that e-mail. It is also possible that you can link to a special sale price directly from another site.

When I click on the link in the OP, the price shows $699. Anyone know how to get this for $629?

No way 1075 is worth paying $200 extra for, besides it has a much higher input lag than the 1070

Bought this projector last year for this price, I'm pretty sure it never has been lower than this for a brand new one. Awesome projector; great colors and picture quality. The only downside is mine has developed 2 dust blobs, but they are only barely visible with pitch black scenes so I haven't bothered to try and get it fixed under warranty.

This is a great projector. It's easily the best value projector available.

I bought a house with a media room (wasn't looking for that), but I've decided to get it "up and running". I'm going with a budget conscience setup since I didn't have anything that I would need. Between a screen, speakers, receiver, projector, installation, and hell, a place to sit, it's a big expense all at once. I'm not an AVS wizard, but I've read enough reviews to know that this product should be appreciated at this price.

I think the HT1075 went on sale for $650 at B&H right before I moved, but I didn't want to buy it then. If you're really looking for that model, you should see a deal like that come around again. But, football season is so close...

Thanks OP!

Great price on a reliable projector. Most slickdealers who have purchased this model haven't mentioned many defects, which is much better than some others, such as Optoma. Here http://thecreativealternative.com...projector/ they pick it is best value for the money. I own an older HD65 and want to upgrade to this one, but would rather use Amazon gift cards I have. Hoping amazon lowers the price since I have to pay tax with them.
