Does NOT have DisplayPort inputs.

Figured all that, but thanks for doing the research.Thickness I don't care about but the other stuff...may bite anyway, have $250 of Dell egift cards.

Probably will work well as a monitor if you don't mind the lack of 4:4:4. But there shouldn't be a problem with input lag. For HDMI 2.0 you'll need about $200 more for a video card.
