Until you realize your probably blacked out from viewing your favorite teams games. I wouldn't pay $9.99 for a whole year of service considering most of the games I care about are blacked out. Then again, I also have cable so I can see most games that way. Until MLB fixes the blackout restraints, I'm staying away from MLB.tv.

My local teams aren't an issue, since I can get them on Comcrap (plus this is the Giants "off year" anyway). So I repeat...

Exactly. As much as I hate cable, that's the only way I am able to follow my Giants games. If MLB.TV gets rid of the backout, I am willing to pay much more for that and cut the cord.

Exactly what I was thinking. Unblock-us and unotelly work great). Of course on android you need to be rooted to spoof and on Apple you need jailbreak.

Use unotelly or Unblock-us. There may be other services out there. They work to get around mlb blackouts except on mobile devices which use location checks not ip.

Convenient for me as a Mets fan, married to a Yankees fan, living in Boston. Unfortunately I jumped on the $25 deal a couple weeks ago, but I saved 35% with a student/military discount.

Let's go Mets!

I did a similar deal last year. The fine print is very easily overlooked and they automatically renew you at the beginning of next season at full price. One day out of the blue you see a $160 charge on your card. It caught me off guard. I just stick to the pirate streams now. So what if it's only standard def. MLB and their crazy blackout rules aren't getting my ten bucks.

Exciting times for Mets fans! They went from the worst hitting team in baseball (statistically this year) to one of the most deadly lineups. They have oodles of hitters. The biggest problem they have is: Who do you start on a given day? That's a good problem to have! Cheers
