Thread Details

Hi Folks,

I searched and don't see this posted, and thought I would share.
Product Link [amazon.com]
Currently same price for Black or White.

IMO worth the extra cash over the less powerful 25W model posted. That one does not have high speed full rate charging on all ports-just on 2 out of 5, and less overall charging at the same time capability @5 amps total vs 8 amps total on the 40W model. This means you can charge more items at once at a higher rate.

I bought and use 3 of the original models of the 40W and am very happy with it. I also have one of the 25W models and it is good except I have to pay attention to which port I plug things into to make sure I get full speed charging.

This thread is the latest updated model. The original model has been on sale a few times lately as low as $17.99, but currently is $25.99 [amazon.com].

Just a comment on USB chargers in general...if you are going to invest in a charger like this, you may want to consider getting one with at least one Qualcomm quickcharge 2.0 port. I have two of these Anker chargers (highly recommended) but now find that, due to my latest laptop purchase, I have to also carry a quickcharge 2.0 charger as well which is annoying. My next multiple device charger will hopefully be another Anker but with quickcharge 2.0 capability. This is currently offered by a couple of other good companies, but not Anker.

I didn't rate thumbs up or down...you have to decide if it has the features you want or not.

I think your point is valid for those with the need for the Qualcomm quickcharge 2.0 port.
And since this is off to a great start with others jumping on the negative wagon, can I bother you for links to the ones that you like? Reps in advance! hug

Meanwhile I looked and found some multiple port with Quickcharge feature here.
