I have been tracking mSATA drives for awhile now. This is the best price I have seen. FYI, the Crucial M550 256MB mSATA has dropped also (from $134.65 to $110.99).

Thanks for the heads up OP. Tempting. Want one for my NP900X3E. May be a dumb questions but will the mSATA form-factor be around for a while? With the introduction of M.2? Just wondering if prices will continue to fall or will everything start going to M.2 making mSATA harder to find thus increasing prices.

Nice find on MX200. I only commented on the M550 because it is in my Amazon Wishlist. I prefer the Samsung because it comes with good software.

Not sure about the longevity of mSATA but it is fairly common for current gen laptops/HTPCs and although slower than M.2, mSATA benefits from having only one standard socket type (M.2 has three types https://www.ramcity.com.au/blog/m...y-list/189).
One can only guess how far SSD prices will drop but it seems to be the best time to buy so far.

How is the MX200 a good deal? The 850 Evo is faster and is $5 less.

BTW, Amazon price has expired, but I was able to find it on Jet.com for $83.38 no tax (Amazon charges tax for me).

Damnit. I had a deal alert set for "msata 250GB" and this post didn't alert me. And now the drive is $10 more. Am I using the deal alert incorrectly? Why is this posts missed when using those search terms?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see now I had set it to only notify me if the deal front paged. Fixed that, hopefully next time...
