Alienware 18 780M SLI and Korean 4K 60HZ monitor compatibility

STi 2,335 698 August 29, 2015 at 03:15 PM More eBay Deals
Hi, I have an Aw 18 i7-4900mq, 16gb ram, 780m sli, Ssd.

I am thinking to purchase one of the below mentioned Korean 4k 60hz monitors.

I was wondering if my laptop is able run them? On the monitor description it says laptops are not supported. I have mini DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.3 i think.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

You don't have a "typical" laptop. You have a higher end machine with a higher end discrete gaming GPU. Since you have the right connections I would think it should work. I offer no guarantees though that it would.

Not sure what your planning to do but that's a lot of pixels to push if your gaming on a laptop.
