Just a heads up that this is only good for 5qts. Many bigger cars take more, and you will be paying the premium fee for the additional oil.

Depending on year and engine size, sould be right up to 5 qts. That applies to anything 09 or older with a 4 cyl at least, and could be newer.

Your owner's manual should tell you or pop the hood and look for a sticker there.

Thanks, OP. Jiffy Lube does mine for $23.99 so this is an easy $4 back in my pocket.

After watching all those youtube vids on how these chains lie about changing your oil, i only trust my mechanic to do it. I'd do it myself but I live in the city.

Not exactly slick - offers like this at national chains all of the time.

Also, the Firestone around my place SUCKS.

I've always been skeptical of bouncing around to various oil change places ... I have a car that recommends synthetic so I pay around $50 even with a coupon (FWIW, you go longer between changes, so costs net out if you look at it annually), but how do you know if a place is actually using the synthetic and not just putting in conventional and charging more??

FWIW My thoughts on synthetic BLEND are: What exactly does "blend" mean? 10% synthetic and 90% conventional? 50/50? I only use 100% synthetic for the few dollars extra I like to know what I am getting.

Ford Focus 2004 with 2.0l Zetec engine...I've been wondering this for a while: does it make sense to do a synthetic blend oil change? Any harm in it?
