http://www.microcenter.com/produc...rd_-_Black microcenter has this surge protector for $3, $2.48 cheaper that the lowest price I could find at waltmart http://www.walmart.com/ip/1036365...s_limit=7& and overall this item got some good reviews. this is my first post so please be gentle. lol Smilie

With most of the cheap Inland surge protectors, when protection fails, it fails to bypass and you don't know it. At least that's what the warning on the label usually says. If you just need power strips, not a bad price, just don't depend on the surge protection. Also note the 2ft cord.

Thanks for the heads-up on cord, which renders it virtually useless for me,

Good price though with only 201 joules I'd use it as a power strip rather than surge protector.
