T-Mobile Users

UPDATE (9/9/2015): T-Mobile users should just boycott / ignore / find an alternative for the Moto X Pure Edition. LTE band 12 has been disabled due to some BS with voLTE and wifi calling requirements that needs to be passed

https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/..._disabled/

Wait and see what T-Mobile decides to do with band 12. It might be disabled in a future update if the phone does not do VoLTE.
What is a region band 12? Better reception.
http://ae2.spectrumgateway.com/t-...ctrum.html

This phone will also NOT support Wifi calling.

Moto E 2015 lost band 12 due to lack of VoLTE support. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...es/cspx7kt

Moto X PURE **Pre Orders Begin at 2PM CST**

Moto Play info and Moto vs Nexus:

For what its worth, they are releasing the Play Edition in Canada and should work on all networks here in the US, although its not clear if the Canada editions will work on the Verizon and Sprint networks.

http://www.androidcentral.com/mot...res-aug-21

Verizon has exclusive rights to the Play edition. Its being launched as the Droid Turbo Maxx 2

http://www.christianpost.com/news...-2-143768/

The new moto lineup and the Pure Edition are hands down the best Android phones for the money ever. I have a Nexus 5 and it was the best bang for your buck phone at the time but left a lot to be desired such as better speakers, front facing speakers, a decent to high end camera, better battery life and SD capability.

The new moto has solved all those issues. Plus they give you 3GB ram, the ability to customize, some kind of water proofing (my nexus has been very rugged in that respect too) and super fast charging. I just wish the Play Edition was available in the US. Slightly smaller (5.5") larger battery (3600 mah) and a lower screen res/quality. The significantly larger battery and lower screen res/quality/size should result in significantly greater battery life.

With the delay in shipping and general apprehension about ordering right out the gate, I am going to wait to see what the nexus 5 2015 offers. Its going to be very tough to beat the Moto tho.

Im a fan of the 5.2"-5.5" screens. Nexus could steal a large number of customers if they make it competitive and offer that size.

Just did a quick browse for Nexus 2015 specs. Release date is 9/27. Looks like 5.2" screen. Snapdragon 808, 3 GB ram. 2700 mah battery, 13 MP sony camera and fingerprint scanner. 13/32 GB variants. $400.

https://www.androidpit.com/nexus-...s-features

Disappointing if this what is offered for the same price as the Moto Pure. Looks like the Moto blows Nexus 2015 away.

Moving away from Samsung.

Have been debating between this and the LG G4.

Anyone know if the Pure Edition will be able to do wireless charging with an adapter?

most of samsung and lg's phones are carrier locked with all that crapware on their phones. not to mention the long wait times for them to update devices. it's about time for phone oems to ditch carriers and the crapware. LMAO

I'm a huge moto fan boy - I've owned Moto X, Moto X2 and the Nexus 6. I'll definitely be getting this too. I love my Nexus 6, but miss Moto tools - this should solve my issues...

Thanks for the heads up! Leather 32gb coming my way!
