RingPlus will be offering another promotion this Thursday, 09/03 from 6-8pm PDT.

-The Diversity Plan includes a monthly base of 300 Min, 500 Text, 300MB. If you go over in minutes, data, or text, you are charged $4.99. Then you get a bonus package added in whichever category you went over in. These packages consist of 300 Min, 500Texts, or 300MB and they are valid for two months. It’s a bit like rollover.

For example, if you go over your monthly base of 300 Min, you would be charged $4.99 and instantly receive a bonus of 300 Minutes which would not expire for 2 months. And of course the following month you’ll still receive your base allowance
.
Diversity – Requires a $5.00 Minimum Top Up which has to be maintained. (This means you get your money’s worth in usage. It’s not flat activation fee.)

-In addition a new voicemail system will be available.

This system is a new and improved voicemail that requires members to link their Twitter account to their Ringplus account (special confirmation will be required in addition to the currently available safeguards of log in or repost within Twitter’s functionalities)
Here are some real life problems that the new voicemail system aims to solve:
A) When someone calls you and reaches voicemail, he or she is frustrated by not being able to speak with you. Giving the person calling you a little bit of info may be all it takes to make him happy. For example, someone tries to phone you but you’re out of reach because you are traveling, hiking, sailing, or on vacation.
B) If you have children, or other family members depending on you. You surely would like for them to be able to contact someone else in case of an emergency. This is also handy for doctors, lawyers, etc.
We think that combining these options in one voicemail could be helpful. For example, you don’t want to update your voicemail just because you are flying from LA to NY. But you‘d probably Tweet it… “Just boarding, heading to NY”. Many people calling you just want to know how you are. And with this voicemail, they can.
Again, all these options in voicemail will be by opt-in only. So, we’ve posted the call flow below and would like to hear your feedback. If the feedback is positive, we will implement this product within the next three weeks.

Good one. Drawback is Sprint network and not all phones are compatible, i guess.
Any feedback from fellow SD's who are using Ringplus currently?

I have a couple of phones on RingPlus, but my main line is on T-Mobile. The RingPlus phones were just Boost and VM phones I had laying around. They make good backup phones.

Same old plan. They should change the 2 month to 4 month.

Does anyone know if Freedompop's phone is compatible with Ringplus? The Samsung Galaxy S5 in Sams Club is in my mind.

Sprint is spotty here but some of that LTE will go 30/10 downtown. The best part is free and easy activation of upper end LTE phones. You might be surprised what works, VM, Boost, and Sprint Prepaid new out of box is almost a sure thing until that Moto E messed with us. I have Nexus 5, Volt, Realm, HTC ONE, and Galaxy SIII so all my primary phones on GVoice.

Does your Sprint phones change to 3G sometimes when signal is weak?

I saw a few posts claiming Sprint Prepaid Moto E works on RingPlus. Did they flash it or mod ESN to make it work since most people can't make it work on RingPlus out of the box?

I tested 5x sprint prepaid moto e phones at best buy, and they were ALL valid with the R+ checker... so I'm not sure what monkeybiz is talking about. On the other hand, I checked more than a dozen different Boost and Virginmobile phones and NONE of them showed up as valid with R+. YMMV I guess (drastically).
