Deal Details

Finally got the word on pricing with Harbor Mobile's ATT deal (formerly a tmobile MVNO)

There is a service fee of 3$ per line (same as before)

AT&T plans:

ALL TALK & TEXT PLANS INCLUDE: Unlimited Talk to the USA, Canada & Mexico and Unlimited text to over 190 countries (but no roaming data as with tmobile)

20.00 - Unlimited Talk & Text
25.00 - Unlimited Talk & Text +1GB 4G LTE Data
30.00 - Unlimited Talk & Text +2.5GB 4G LTE Data
40.00 - Unlimited Talk & Text +4.5GB 4G LTE Data
50.00 - Unlimited Talk & Text +10GB 4G LTE Data
20.00 - Data only for Hotspot or Tablet: 5GB 4G LTE

+ 3$ service fee per line

Each line requires one of the above plans + 3$ service fee (all taxes and fees included in this)
So if you want two lines you would pay for two of the above services (ie 40$ x 2 for 2 hotspot lines) + 6$ (3$ x 2) in services fees = 46$ total

Existing harbor customers will continue to be able to keep their existing plans with tmobile

Even if you are an existing customer you still have to go their website and sign up for the beta site if you want to add any additional lines

Hopefully this sheds some light on the situation

Depending on taxes and if unlimited throttle is available, this could be good Cricket competition. I wonder if they will allow tethering?

no the price is for individual line, meaning if you want two, it would cost double the price, the extra 3$ is per line, so if you wanted 1 data plan it would be 23$ 2 would be 46$ etc

thanks. I figured that...it's just kind of stupid that they don't just price the plans $3 higher in that case, right?

With service fees and taxes, probably not. But if there is no throttle, that is an advantage. Still, 5 lines on Cricket for $100 is hard to beat.

I would definitely ditch Cricket if the 4G isn't throttled on HM 2.0. Cricket network sucks (0.05/0.05Mbps speed most of the time on LTE before reaching the cap), service sucks, billing sucks....
