$874 and no SSD?......

Whole computer is going to seem slow while you're not gaming if you've ever used an SSD.

After tax and the cost of an SSD this will be over $1000. The 6700K offers no real gaming performance improvement over previous i7 processors [anandtech.com].

Or $861 for a non-gaming rig with 500GB SSD & 16GB RAM:

Windows 7 Professional 64
6th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K processor quad-core [4.0GHz, 8MB Shared Cache]
16GB DDR4-2133 DIMM (2x8GB) RAM
512GB SATA 2.5 Solid State Drive
No Secondary HDD
4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 745 [DVI, HDMI, DP, DVI to VGA adapter]
500W Power supply

Considering the 6700k has a MSRP of $350 and the 970 is about a $300 card, this is a pretty good deal if you like the most up to date tech. Those two components and a Windows license would run you around $750 if you were building one yourself.
