Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has the LG 29UM57 29" Ultrawide IPS monitor (2560 x 1080 resolution) for $199.99 with free shipping or in-store pickup.

Back again at Best Buy's eBay store [ebay.com] but with free shipping now.

Just a reminder, if you still have your AMEX offer for a statement credit of $25 on $250 you can combine this monitor with a physical gift card to reach $250 and get the credit.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If not working, try adding to cart via the search link
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searc...&keys=keys site is having issues

For those of you who want to visually compare this to a standard 24" 16:9 monitor head over to DisplayWars [displaywars.com]. Thanks to pghdealseeker.

I enjoyed this thorough unboxing/review and it got me really excited to try out the wide 21:9 display [youtube.com] If you have questions about how this monitor performs with movies and games check it out.

A Chrome Extension I came across for 21:9 monitors:

so cheap?
It's $100 off the typical price. Ignore the $399 retail price they have listed. I'm assuming this was an unadvertised item for their Labor Day sale.

And yes, so cheap. So cheap in fact that I bought two of the open-box for about $330. Combined that is almost 60" of display laugh out loud.

Haha. That's still a bargain although BuyDig or Newegg could cut that price again. Between June and when you bought it in August it was on sale four different times. In June it started out at $300 and hit $250 only a few months later when you picked it up.

LMAO I doubt it. It just seems way overboard and, sitting at my typical computer desk, I'd have to keep turning my head to see from the end of one screen to the end of the other. If you can visualize that I'm sure you can see how ridiculous that would be. And the neck cramps. Ow!

Now if these were just curved displays...

So... this is like having two 17" monitors side by side without the bezel running down the middle?

Now you got me excited about the aspect ratio as well; care to point me to some sites explaining why I'm excited?

I really have no experience with it. Just bought the 24" Acer GN246HL 1ms 144hz for gaming, and pulled the trigger on this for multitasking real-estate / movie watching. Just felt like a good price point to see what these new extra widescreen monitors are all about Smilie
