Ipsos deducting points, check your accounts.

Ipsos deducted 2400 points from my account for no reason. It shows up as "Other Rewards" and there are 2 of these for -1200 points. One was done on 9/3 and another one on 9/4. I checked with a friend and she had 1100 points deducted so you should check your accounts. I contacted them, but am still waiting for a response. Anyone else have this issue or knows of a phone number that I can reach them at?

they deducted 2900 pts from mine, 1450 on each day. however i noticed on 8/15 they gave me several 'loyalty awards' totaling 1450 pts so i am thinking that was a mistake and they are correcting their error.

check if they dumped a bunch of pts. in your account on 8/15.

right now i show negative pts. so i think they made the error on 8/15 and now overcorrected it by deducting the error twice. hopefully they will work it out soon.

Thanks, repped! I checked and I had loyalty points added that day too. Hope they fix it soon, I was about to cash out.

I had this happen, and emailed them about it last night. They replied it was a glitch that happened during maintenance. They said they are aware are working to correct it.

You recently wrote to us regarding the points that were deducted from your i-Say account.

Unfortunately, this occurred due to a technical error, but our Rewards department is currently looking into this issue. I’ll come back with more information as soon as possible.

Update: Looks like they fixed it now. They added back 1200 points for me. I guess we were not supposed to get any of those loyalty points that they gave us on 8/15.

nothing reinstated yet for me Frown and I never got the "bonus" on 8/15 that was mentioned earlier, so I am not sure why my account was docked.

Hopefully, you get your points soon! Sounds like their system is messed up and they subtracted points from all their panelists so it may be taking some time to get everything sorted. I would email them again to remind them. I once had to email them several times and send them an FB message to get an incentive delivered.

thank you, I think you are right! If nothing is reinstated by Tuesday (I'll give 'em through the holiday to fix it) Wink I will email again.

Hey Kim,

You might've noticed some recent changes within your i-Say points account balance.

Over the past few weeks, we've implemented a new monthly automated loyalty i-Say points system. Unfortunately, it didn't work as planned. Our new system over-rewarded i-Say points to our most loyal members.

To make sure our members received the corrected number of loyalty i-Say points, we subtracted the over-rewarded amount. However, a glitch in the system occurred and the i-Say points were deducted twice in some cases. To rectify this incident, we added back the i-Say points that were mistakenly removed. As of today, all members affected by this mishap have been given the correct amount of loyalty i-Say points earned.

We would like to apologize for our new loyalty i-Say points system malfunction. Our team is working on preventing these types of cases from happening going forward.
