Very nice - this is $100+ cheaper than a GoPro and the cheapest action cam I've ever seen. The quality actually looks pretty good from the YouTube videos on the product page.

My kids have been bugging me for a GoPro, but I'm just going to grab them a couple of these and see how it goes.

I have ordered from this site a few times in the past and have had good experiences.

Thanks OP!

I got this camera with the Call of Duty Ghosts Prestige Edition last year sometime. I've only used it for a 2-day ski outing in northern Minnesota but it worked very well.

Keep in mind that it does not perform well below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2nd day of the trip was extremely cold and it would only record video for about 15 seconds and then automatically shut off from the cold. It resulted in me having about 20 15-second videos at the top of the hill from the 2nd day.

The 1st day when it was slightly warmer (10-15 degrees Fahrenheit) it worked flawlessly. I'd recommend getting a bigger micro sd card if you are going to use it for an extended period of time since the 4GB it comes with won't last long.

Also, the camera has 2 settings - 1080p 30fps and 720p 60fps.

anybody got any SD user reviews on the merchant? Price looks great but no SSL/trusted site logo or https makes me uneasy to buy from them. Also, not office address or company info either......really shady....

I see they use paypal for CC....at least thats a relief....resellerratings.com shows about 20-30% of customers upset because download codes didn't work.....not sure about purchasing physical items from them

Will this mount on a picatinny rail? The picture seems small. I've been looking for a cheap action cam for my guns.

Anyone know anything about this particular camera?
I want something to mount on a crossbow for deer hunting.
Have used my kids go-pro but would rather have something cheap to not be too upset if it gets broken.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They've had at least a dozen FP deals over the past year. I've only had good experiences with them. They're usually pretty quick to respond to customer emails now, too.

For me, I'd use it on the range, but it would also be good to have one for home defense - not unlike a dashcam for the car. If someone is breaking into my home, I'm grabbing my firearm and turning on the camera to record everything. The jury can then see and hear everything. This action cam doesn't look much different than a weapon-mounted flashlight.

It's sad that it has to come down to resorting to using something like this.

How well will this function as a dashcam?
