Get Deal

Thread Details

I searched and didn't see this posted.

Regular price $24.99.

FP deal herefor $2 less has expired. I searched and didn't see today's deal posted so I thought I would share.

This has been a popular deal recently even at today's sale price.

Includes:
  • Magnetic Bit Holder
  • 33x Assorted 1" Insert Bits
  • 9x Assorted 2" Power Bits
  • 3x 3" Power Bits
  • 7x Assorted Nut Setters
  • Compact Molded Case

I chose the 54 piece set over the 100 piece set mentioned here for $14.99. Mainly for the Quick-change adapter.
May end up getting both sets.

I picked this up a few days ago. I was disappointed in the hard plastic case and the bits are not easy to remove as in other cases. the first time this gets dropped it will probably break. The cases should be made of the softer plastic other users utilize. Decent set though.

I do think sears is going the way of radio shack as in out of business. When you go to buy something they want your name, number, push their credit card on you and absolutely refuse to price match any online retailers. Listening to them explain their reasons for not price matching is ridiculous. other merchants price match amazon

I can buy Craftsman brand at Ace hardware now and kmart.

I have to say, this really isnt a deal. I saw this for sale yesterday for like $1.50 cheaper (as OP says). If the price went up, i dont think its worth a new post. Maybe just update the old post.

Feel free to discuss with the mods. The other deal expired, so OP can't update it. I missed that deal and found it was very close to that today. I bought it myself when I stumbled on it by reading the thread on the 100 piece kit.

This is still a popular price point if you search for matching threads, as I did, you would see that. Therefore I felt it would be nice to let folks know.

A simple TD due to your opinion of bad price would suffice. Although you can't beat it for now. Wait and put a deal alert on it, and you could save a couple more bucks next time though. Certainly some who missed yesterday's deal think they deserve lower. It just doesn't always work out that way.

No mention in the FP deal thread what the price changed to. If it had only gone up $2, I completely agree, and truly believe the mods would have simply updated the thread as you suggest. They do investigate once someone reports as expired. I have seen them update threads in the past as well.

That logic leads me to believe it went up considerably, and came back down on sale now. I have no evidence of this, because I wasn't tracking it yesterday.
Just using logic and common sense.

If OP was tracking it, he could have either edited it while it was posted live, or requested mods to edit it. It isn't my job to notify the other OP or mods if it came back down which seems more plausible.

Some may have expiring points and missed that deal, but would buy for close price.
That is not considered part of the thread equation though for most, so I won't bring it up in the OP. Anyone who shops Sears regularly is always having this issue with the Sears/Kmart points system though. Always pressure to find a cheap deal or lose some points. Smilie

So while I understand your points, I don't believe today's price is poor, as recent deals were popular at the same price.
