Buying carpet for a whole house and where to purchase work boots.

CARPET

Any ideas or tips where I can find carpet for a whole house at a good price? I was quoted $2 a square foot for builders grade carpet installed. The home is a 30 year old mobile home and the carpet is shot. It is around 1200 square feet, but maybe has 800 sq ft of carpet?

Work Boots

I would like to own some Redwings, but I really just need the most comfortable work boots with steel toes for the the cheapest price. I will be walking on concrete floors. My feet are killing me and these crappy Timberlands have got to go.

I asked this question [reddit.com].. and I was given a good answer.. which is dalton, GA

If you can make it there.. OR at least call some of these places maybe you could get a better deal... otherwise? pay up locally..

Since you don't need much carpet, check with local carpet stores about remnants. Usually you can get high end carpeting for builders grade this way.
